Kyle's 2nd Christmas
(Posting some old photos, sorry they're so late!)
Kyle has developed a sudden irrational fear of big red and white jiggling blobs.
I guess he hasn't yet associated Big Red with presents yet...
Maybe next year at least he'll know WHY he's terrified of Santa.

Back from the (former) USSR
Dad went to Moscow this week on business... pretty cool place! The above is an overview of the skyline. It's a strange city - no skyscrapers (just like most of Europe), but you also find factories with huge smokestacks right downtown... I guess in a Communist society land in the center of the city wasn't that much more valuable commercially so there was no reason to move them.
Luckily Dad had a half day to tour the city - including a personal guided tour of Red Square. The cathedral there is amazing, and truly unique. It's actually 9 churches built into one, each one representing a separate historical event.
Inside the church are 9 separate rooms, each decorated amazingly. The incredible thing about stuff like this in Europe is that it's almost in it's original state - very few things are cordoned off, behind glass, modernized, or museum-ized. I must say it's very impressive to see. There was no heating installed in the cathedral, and very few lights or other modern updates.
A very narrow stairway up to the second level, with my personal driver for the day - Igor. You get treated right in this country!
Two of the other halls/rooms - very stunning.
Random photos to catch up...
Here's a bunch of miscellaneous photos from the last few months.
Leaving Grandma and Grandpa in Paris
Touring by horse carriage in Gent (Belgium)
The Legoland Castle in Gent (Well, I think it looks like a Lego castle anyways... it's the most like a stereotypical castle I've ever seen, it's gorgeous!)
Touring Brugge by horsey.
Us having fun in Brugge. :)
One of the four knights of the Apocolypse in Gent.
The big church in Gent (or is it Brugge???)... I can't remember the name, sorry! The statue is it's claim to fame: done by Michaelangelo.
Kyle likes playing naked after his bath.
Thankfully he also likes playing naked IN the bath.
