A blur of Irish rabbits...
Well - Easter weekend was spent having a short, whirlwind trip off to Dublin. With just over 2 months until "D-Day" (D is for Decision... who knows what'll happen), we have a lot of Eurpoe still to see. Believe it or not, this is the FIRST country that Mom and Dad got to experience together for the first time. Every other trip, one or both of them had been there before on their own!

We stayed at a very nice Radisson hotel south of the center, the hotel had a great park in front of it, but the restaurant sucked. q:]

The first day was spent enjoying Grafton Street - much to the delight of Mom.

I took the opportunity to catch up on my z's... actually, I did a lot of stroller snoozin' this trip.

On Saturday we went to the zoo... Lions sound funny with an Irish accent. So do monkeys!

I've discovered a few fun new games to play with Mom and Dad - you can try these at home too!

1) when eating, pretend that any chair with straps on it is actually the jaws of an alligator. When your parents bring you near, kick and shout and scream so everyone in the restaurant gets scared of the alligator and runs out of the restaurant.

2) you can get any food you like if you half-chew and spit out any other food they try to feed you. It may get messy (so it's a good idea to eat naked), but it's worth the effort. It also means you get to have a bath right after dinner! Yay!

3) if you put a peach on a fork, then wave it around real, real fast - it magically disappears! Nobody knows where they end up, but boy I wish I knew!

All that playing sure wears my parents out quick... I guess I'll let them get 2 hours of sleep, then we can start playing more games! Boy, that's fun at 3 in the morning.

Dad wants to open up a franchise of this store in Vancouver. Mom says it's more suited to Amsterdam, but she wouldn't elaborate for me.

Mom and Dad sometimes take advantage of my youth. They cut 20 minutes off waiting in line for the Guinness brewery tour by flaunting me in front of the security guards.

We saw some cool lights and copper kettles and stuff - but overall we just came for the beer.

I never knew my tongue could curl up backwards like that so quick... too bad Mom wasn't quicker with the camera to capture that though.

I was in a great mood after that, for a short while...

Then I got really sleepy...

But it was a great view of the (spinning) city.

On Sunday it was Easter. The Easter Bunny left me chocolates. I love bunnies.

Spanish sounds cool.
I like sand. I like sand in my hair. I like sand in my mouth. I like sand in Dad's pants. I like sand in our bed. It goes perfectly just about anywhere.

I also like water. Actually, I hate water. No, actually I like water... Um, no, I hate water...

Lanzarote Spain (Canary Islands)
I'll post more from our trip later, but here's the real reason we went abroad...
