Back from the far West... or something like that.
Well, we've been back from vacation for a while now (Since Aug 28), and I'm finally getting to posting some of the photos. We had over 600 pictures from this trip, so I'm a bit backlogged. There are just too many pictures to have commentary for them all... sorry! It's also a bit of a mess... sorry if I've missed anything. Just wait though, there's still birthday party pictures to come in my next post!

We went to Rosthern for vacation, with a small side trip to Vancouver. It was amazing fun, and we were spoiled with attention from everyone.

The good news is that I'm finally big enough to drive the John Deere tricycle that Grandpa bought me! See, I can ride it really well!

I got to see all my relatives from the Prairies, and had lots of fun with them.

And a really nice guy showed Mom and Dad how to wash Jemma's head. I think he called it a Baptism.

Dad got out to play some golf... I'm jealous. I've got a pretty good drive, ya know.

Grandpa's pretty good...

Dad's a hack.

And Grandpa Melanson has the home-turf advantage.

The tee's in the air, the swing looks good... but Grandpa, isn't the ball supposed to GO somewhere?

Kids make people do silly things sometimes, don't they? I guess it just brings out the kid at heart.

Dad has a knack for timing... he showed up to help Uncle Charles move out of his house, and all he had to carry was half a television, four coffees and a box of doughnuts. Way to go Dad!

Uncle Charles moved to his new house in Regina the same weekend that Jemma was baptised. I'm sure he'll miss S'toon, but his new place sounds like it will work out great for him and Shannon.

Cuz... whenever my Dad points a camera in your general direction, you can be assured he IS taking a picture of you... not the dog. :)

You have to love these candid family moments, right?

Dad... hats are not for you. Give it up.

I had a GREAT time flying my dragon kite with Grandpa!

Grandpa, RUN!!!

Whew... that was a lot of fun, and a lot of running!

The new pool in Rosthern is great!

I like reading to my sister.

Mom is cute. Really cute. I'm glad I have her genes.

Dad and Grandpa beat Mom and Grandma at cards. I think he said it was a "slaughter"... or something like that. Dad has a good imagination.

I guess he's tired of Dad putting the camera in HIS face too...

We had Pastor Lynn, her husband Lee, and their family over for dinner (along with Bonnie and Alvin from next door). We had tons of fun playing and eating!

Dallas and Austin were great to play with too!

I'm ready for the slugger!

I also got to play all kinds of rides with Jessy and Robyn!

And I had a pre-birthday party in Saskatchewan too... yummy, cake!

I also went golfing with Austin and Dallas. I got a hole in one. Even Daddy didn't do that. I'm going on tour.

Bummmmm... crack.

When we were in Vancouver, we went to see our old house too... boy does it look good now! Wow...

The new basement is amazing...

Even the main floor is stunning now!

We got to stay with my friends Gianluca and Xavier as well... he had cool trains to play with. Mom and Dad tried to get MC and Simon to move back to Belgium... no go, but with a view like THAT, who'd blame them?

At what EXACT age does this stop being ok? :)

Adoption? Hmmm.... does it come with the trains?

Our friends had a party for us at Darielle and Andy's place... it was great to see everyone.

I saw Don eyeing my toys, so I decided to share.
