And the 2007 Badly Edited Video Award winner is...
Daddy!!!!!
Hey, but it's of us kids, so it can't be all that bad, right? Sorry Uncle - if you don't have Quicktime, it sucks to be you for the moment.
click here for the Quicktime Movie - other formats maybe coming after daddy has a few mintues.
And the big news is...
Jemma is oh so close to walking... she's standing on her own quite steadily now, and will walk while holding your fingers. She's taken a step or two here and there, but Mom and Dad are desperately trying to hold her back until Grandma and Grandpa Melanson get here this week. She took her first step on her own last Sunday (April 22).
Here's a BUNCH of random pictures from the last month or so. It's been amazingly hot and sunny here most of the time, getting up over 30 degrees! Wowza...

See, she can do it!!!

Kyle and I have been playing really well together lately. He looks so grown up with his new haircut, doesn't he?

Kyle even shares with me from time to time... yummy lemon ice!
What a climber!

We had some friends over for a party, because it was just too hot not to enjoy it.

We had to get the pool out, otherwise we'd melt. We even have the tent over the pool, to protect my petit bum-bum from being burned (I've been known to streak in the backyard from time to time, ya know).

"Mommy is making me wear a hat!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

This might be the year, Grandpa!!!
Next year, I'll drive one model larger, like they had across the street when they dug their pool.

"I know your type... you're eyeing my golf balls!"

Fish!!!

Mommy went to Amsterdam for a night with the Girls, and left us with Daddy. We survived... barely. Daddy didn't do much better.

We love you Great-Grandma Emma!
We love you and miss you Great-Grandma - you were always amazingly good to us; always thinking of and doing things for others. Rest in peace - and say a big hello to Great Grampa for us too!
April showers... bring bunnies, who bring chocolat!
April has been a fantastically warm and sunny month so far - with a few days around 20 degrees. We've certainly taken advantage of it.
My old friends Tara and Derek came back to visit, and they brought all kinds of goodies for us. They hadn't met Jemma yet, but they bonded instantly.

MMMmmmmm... I think she's going to like popsicles.

Mom and Dad should learn one thing: don't try on our stuff. You're just not hip enough for it.

On the other hand though, I write good emails. ak;alkdlljr;lj98y8ad hn adipjad898y23upaqenkjf avdpvaipoi83p8ay5ht.

We had our friends Kate and Abby over a couple times this week to play. Do you see any patterns in the photos? Yes, that would be that we're always the ones being pushed or pulled, and THEY're always the ones doing the work. That takes skill, ya know.

Ok, maybe it went a bit far when she started barking... :)

It was Easter Sunday today - and the Easter Bunny came!!! Nobody could explain the correlation between bunnies and eggs though, but they had chocolat in them, so I didn't press it.

Grrrrrr!!!!!!
It was such a nice day that we had to go for a walk too.

Crash! I think I hurt my botty-bum-bum... no, I ok!
